Marriage Licenses

The Ohio County Clerk’s Office Does Not Perform Marriage Ceremonies

It is VERY helpful and saves a lot of time in the office if you start your application online. It can then be completed in the office.  https://www.in.gov/judiciary/2605.htm

-For Indiana residents, at least one applicant must reside in Ohio County.  -Applicants that reside in a different Indiana County may not apply in Ohio County. -Out-of-state residents may apply for a marriage license in Ohio County ONLY if the ceremony is    performed in Ohio County.

Hours:   Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 – 3:30

Cost: Indiana Residents:  $18.00 (+$2.00 per certified copy) Out-of-state Residents:  $60.00 (+$2.00 per certified copy)
