Marriage Licenses

The Ohio County Clerk’s Office Does Not Perform Marriage Ceremonies

It is VERY helpful and saves a lot of time in the office if you start your application online. It can then be completed in the office.

Please see website for what you need to bring when applying.

-For Indiana residents, at least one applicant must reside in Ohio County.  -Applicants that reside in a different Indiana County may not apply in Ohio County. -Out-of-state residents may apply for a marriage license in Ohio County ONLY if the ceremony is    performed in Ohio County.

Hours:   Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 – 3:30

Cost: Indiana Residents:  $25.00 (+$2.00 per certified copy) Out-of-state Residents:  $60.00 (+$2.00 per certified copy)
